 * I use the ThemeIsle theme Hestia which employs a front-page.php. As a result,
   my actual homepage Page is empty and I have no idea how to add meta descriptions.
   ThemeIsle itself says the following: “First you need to enable Advanced settings
   pages from SEO > Dashboard > Features. It’s really easy to do it. Just navigate
   to SEO > Titles & Metas > Homepage, and there you can manage title and meta description
   template. And if you also want to add meta tags, then you will have to enable
   it first from the SEO > Titles & Metas > Other tab.
 * Well, it isn’t easy for me. I just Activated Yoast for the second time, but still
   cannot find any of these options in my Dashboard. I noticed that you now say 
   all the advanced features are readily available but the only option I am being
   offered is to rewrite my homepage, which I do not want to do.

 * Those seem to be outdated instructions. Can you confirm you have Yoast SEO for
   WordPress 8.1.2 installed on your website?
 * You can update the SEO title and meta description template of the frontpage/homepage
   by going to your admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Search Appearance > General
   Tab.

   else’s questions but didn’t get this one.
