# Frontend Update button does nothing

 * I’m a one-day user (but plenty of other website development) and have installed
   WP 4.2 for my daughter’s business.
 * We can edit in Frontend but the Update button does nothing. Everything else seems
   to work although maybe a bit slow.
 * What am I missing? I don’t see any activity with Firefox’s Web Developer Network
   monitor. Anything else I can do to give more info?

    We’re using “Total – Responsive Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme by 
   WPExplorer”. See [http://themeforest.net/item/total-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/6339019](http://themeforest.net/item/total-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/6339019).
   I guess it’s a feature of the theme as we didn’t install any plugins.
 * Maybe I should be taking it up with the designers?

 * Ah yes, as that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official
   support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and
   encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to
   those official locations.

 * Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would
   not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other
   reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors
   are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

 * Thanks, James, for your trouble and the link. I didn’t know enough to know if
   the Frontend / Update feature was WP or third-party. I’ll follow up with the 
   developers.
