 * Tamba’s tutorial seems to be down. Does anyone know an online tute that can walk
   me through (step by step) the process for using an ftp client to modify chmod?

 * Here’s how I CHMOD…
 * 1) Use WS_FTP LE (type it in on Google, download it for free)
    2) Enter in your
   ftp server details, pretty self-explanatory 3) Once connected, browse to the 
   directory containing the folder or file that you want to modify the permissions
   4) Left click the file/folder, then right click and choose “chmod” 5) Tick the
   appropriate box, hit OK.

 * I am feeling pretty stupid… I cannot do this.
 * I use Dreamweaver to ftp or I use the CPanel X at my host and Safari browser.
   There is no explaination about CHMOD in WP 1.5 in the Miscellaneous page.
 * I cannot seem to make the wp-content folder writeable. AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!

 * Even in CPanel you can do it. Go > File Manager > Select the file by clicking
   on it. In the right upper corner it will appear the file name and under it a 
   several options. Click: Change Permission and in the table that appears click
   all the Write boxes.

 * Thanks so much – solved!
 * Was able to upload an image. Placed the code into a test post to see how it works,
   image is not showing. I will look through posts here and see if anyone has had
   this problem.
