 * how to retrieve FTP credentials?
 * I am trying to update the plugins but my web host is not responding to my calls
   or emails. I have the hostname, username but not the password, is there a way
   I can reset it?

   they will respond soon.

 * Can you access your hosting account without your FTP password? There’s usually
   an option to modify your FTP account through whichever cPanel they use.

 * Hi Christine and Rebecca are correct you will need to contact your hosting provider
   for FTP credentials. Your WordPress site is installed on a server. You need access
   to the server to update your plugins…
