 * Hi there! Good Morning!
 * Is it possible to share a FTP folder with this plugin?
 * What we are looking for is a plugin able to share a FTP folder for each client.
 * Then, a third party program would upload documents (mainly PDFs) to that FTP
   folder, and we need that the files in each client folder are updated into the
   frontend (the online web) automatically so the client can access it with his
   login data and maybe a password, view the files in the folder and download them.
 * We also need every file / folder to be accessed only by the correspondant client
   and to be privated and blocked for the rest of users and visitors/google robots/…
 * We are seriously considering getting this plugin but we have been trying for
   a while with the free version and we can’t achieve what i have explained.
 * Please, we would be grateful if you help us.
 * Thank you and have a nice day!!

 * Hello [@inpformacion](https://wordpress.org/support/users/inpformacion/) ,
 * Sorry to hear that the free version is not achieving what you are looking for.
 * You can check our premium addons.
 * Our WordPress Download Manager Pro remote FTP storage add-on will help you to
   store your files on a remote server and add files from a remote FTP location
   in your package. You can explore remote FTP server locations and select any file
   from there to add to your package. If you add multiple files with a package enable
   individual file download.
 * You can check more details from the addon page:
    [https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-remote-ftp-add-on/](https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-remote-ftp-add-on/)
 * Let me know us if this solves your requirements
 * Thanks

 * Hi Tanvir!
 * Thank you for your prompt reply !!
 * The FTP folder will be located on the own server where the web will be hosted.
   As i understand it will be a “local FTP” and not a “remote FTP”
 * What we are aiming for is a kind of automatization in the process, we want to
   create the hierarchy of folders for the clients, then a program/software will
   upload different PDF documents to each client FTP folder.
 * The number of documents will be high, therefore we need the files to appear in
   the web automatically when they are uploaded into the FTP. Would this be possible
   or would we have to update manually the .csv so the files can be shown in the
   web ??
 * Maybe we could code some script to update the .csv automatically but we would
   have to research it and at this point we are looking for the easiest way to achive
   our goals, using a wordpress plugin. Anyways that would be still an option.
 * Thank you very much for your patience and attention!

 * Hello [@inpformacion](https://wordpress.org/support/users/inpformacion/),
 * Actually, this is the same server that you are saying about. You can use any
   server here. You just need the ftp ip address, usename and password to connect
   to the ftp server.
 * you can use wpdm for bulk importing files using wpdm pro. It can work with csv
   too to import all the files for details, check [this](https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/bulk-import/)
 * after uploading you will see files/folders automatically of the ftp directory
   like this in the add package page [https://ibb.co/GQvQfvK](https://ibb.co/GQvQfvK)
 * Hope my answer will help you
 * Thanks

 * Hi,
    Sorry for all the confusion, you will need wpdm pro special pack ( [https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-special-pack/](https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-special-pack/))
   for this. Let me explain more details:
 * #1. You can attach a folder with the wpdm pro package.
    #2. You can upload files
   to that folder using FTP or any other way #3. Any change in the folder also will
   be updated in the package automatically #4. This means when you add a file to
   that folder, the front-end user who has access to the package will get the file
   automatically, you don’t need to edit/update the package. #5. The special pack
   has an add-on ( Advanced Access Control ) to help you to assng a package to specific
   users on need.
