 * I have client that wants to put WordPress blog on site but our dedicated servers
are secure for FTP so only listed IP’s are allowed to access. Is it possible
to do a WordPress blog on? Is the IP that posts the info static? How secure is
the this interface – I would have to be positive that a hacker can’t get through
and get to our server and sites?
    Thanks in advance!

 * The only thing wordpress does with FTP is updating plugins in the 2.6 version.
FTP isn’t neccesary to run WP just a convenient way of updating plguins. WordPress
is only as secure as it’s weakest component, ie plugins. This is because the
writers of plugins aren’t necessarily security experts. So if you need utmost
security, keep plugin use to a minimum.
