# FTP transfer errors in WPPA-source folder

 * Hello Jacob,
 * When I backup my UPLOADS/WPPA-source folder every jpg file that contains an apostrophe
   in the filename fails to transfer.
 * They appear like this: Gregoria \\\’Ria\\\’ Tibesar.jpg
 * The 3 back-slashes cause the transfer to fail.
 * The apostrophe special character has never been an issue in the past. I have 
   completed many FTP backups successfully in the past.
 * Could this be a new Setting within the WPPA plugin that is causing this?

 * On further investigation we are thinking a restoration plugin caused the excess
   backslashes around the apostrophes in the filenames.
 * We noticed the files are duplicated.
 * So I will try to delete the duplicate files with the bad filenames and all should
   be on track again.
