# FTP – Unknown Error

 * I’m trying out the plugin and FTP settings and getting this error message (x’d
   out sensitive details):
   Upload failed! Unknown error.Failed upload path: /homex/
   xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/uploads/clients/xxxxx/GMT20220822-175159_Recording.
   txtError. Could not resolve ftp target filename. Check the domain in ‘ftpinfo’
   attribute.
 * The FTP details are correct. What can I do to troubleshoot?

 * Setting “Use FTP domain” to ON seems to resolve this.
