# FTP Uploads folder – FTPS

 * Hi,
 * I am currently trying to connect my WordPress site to our new server. In the 
   past, I would upload files using ftp to the ftp folder (private files) and then
   access them from there.
 * However our new server only allows for FTPS and when the url is set,the customer
   area setting page says that the ftp folder does not exist?
 * Is there anyway I can continue to use this function with FTPS?

 * the way you upload the files does not matter (FTP, FTPS, SCP, …)
 * you only need to create that folder and make sure it exists. Customer Area will
   find the files in there.
