 * Hi there,
    I recently tried to use another plugin to make a client site more
   security enhanced. This plugin resulting in the site resinstalling itself and
   reverting the templates back to its original state, with no images, page etc.
   Luckily I used online backup and few weeks back to make a backup which resides
   on the clients server. There is no decrypted version but a full backup entitled‘
   backup.zip.php’. Could someone please advise how to extract this file and obtain
   the databse so i can provide our hosting company with the databse to get eh site
   up and running.

 * Hi soulroom75,
 * That file is a “cache” file the plugin creates. When you create a backup you
   need to download it to your computer and it will give you a file named “WPOnlineBackup_Full.
   zip”. If the cache file is in tact and complete we might be able to recover the
   file from it, but the plugin itself does not allow local backup storage at the
   moment. It simply creates a backup you can download, called a “Download backup”.
 * Try download the file and renaming it to “backup.zip” so it ends in “.zip”. It
   will likely not be accessible and say it is corrupt or something. But if you
   download and install 7-Zip or WinRAR or WinZIP archiving utilities they usually
   have a “Repair” option in them. This SHOULD work and make the file usable as
   a ZIP file.
 * Basically the cache file has a header, of around 40-50 bytes, after which the
   ZIP file starts. Repairing the file in a competent archiving utility should notice
   this and strip it out for you.
 * Regards,
 * Jason

 * Hi Jason,
    Panic over I think. I found a WPOnlineBackup.zip and got the site
   back up and running. Thank god I used your tool when I did, otherwise it would
   have been a very poor start to the weekend. Thanks for getting back in touch.
   Regards. Lee.
