    Dear,
i have problems with the full width of the blocks. I set it to full, but it doesn’t work. There seems to be a conflict with my theme. But i have tested many other gutenberg plugins and full width works fine. What could be the reason? Thanks a lot and have a nice day. Best regards Neo

    Hey,
Can you send a link so I can see?

Dear Ben, can I send this privately? Since the site is not yet online, I have to send access data with it.

You could email through the contact form on our site, or use a coming soon plugin that allows you to give front end access through a temporary link.

It doesn’t look as though that theme has any alignfull support. It’s not targeting the alignfull class with css that I can see?

    Dear @britner,

sorry, I don’t understand. With all other plugins and composers there are no problems. What can be the reason for this? Thank you very much Best regards Neo

    Hey,
If you are using a pagebuilder then they control this. With Gutenberg, it’s up to the theme to support full-width because it’s part of core.

For example test with a default theme in WordPress.

Let me know if that makes sense?

    Dear @britner,

yes it works with other standard themes. I have now asked for a solution for my theme, as it is a premium theme. Maybe they can fix it. Thanks for your time. Have a nice evening. Best regards Neo

It’s odd your theme hasn’t updated since 5.0 when Gutenberg laughed, that is when most themes added Gutenberg support.

If they can’t help you there are workarounds by adding your own css into the customizer.

    Dear @britner,

the theme bimber updates everything. It is only optimized for wp bakery and elementor. Gutenberg will be added. But what do you mean with CSS in composer? If I use css, it also affects the whole theme. Or what do you mean exactly? Thanks for your help and your time.

    Dear @britner,

i have installed 12 other plugins all known for Gutenberg. These had no problems with the full width. Thank you very much Neo

    Hey,
    Here is an example: https://www.billerickson.net/getting-your-theme-ready-for-gutenberg/

when themes add support for Gutenberg they add css for the alignfull class.

You can add that css to your site through the customizer (appearance > customize) if your theme doesn’t add it.

    See here: https://www.billerickson.net/full-and-wide-alignment-in-gutenberg/

    I hope that helps!

If you have a page where you are using core Gutenberg block or some other plugins Gutenberg block set at full-width I would love to see, I’m not sure how you could have that without having the css for the alignfull class.
