Of course its possible. But related about HTML markup. If main part of your template is in a container then you should be out of the container to do that. Because its related to the parent width.

Hey,
So just add this css in your theme options > advanced settings:
```
#mapheader > .container {
    width: 100%;
    padding:0;
}
```
