 * 1. Do you have any plans for a caching feature for sitemaps.
    I’m using rankmath
   and just switched to slim seo for a while. Rankmath has a function to cache sitemaps
   when there are too many articles. 2. INSTANT INDEXING – Send URLs directly to
   the IndexNow API. This feature of rankmath is very useful, I look forward to 
   having this functionality in the future. Thank you

 * 1. For sitemap, we don’t think implementing our own caching is a good idea, for
   3 reasons:
 * – The queries for sitemap has pagination (e.g., not all posts/terms are queried
   at once), so it doesn’t affect the performance too much. You can [change the number of returned items](https://docs.wpslimseo.com/slim-seo/xml-sitemap/#how-to-change-the-query-for-posts-in-the-sitemap)
   in the sitemap to make it faster.
    – The sitemap feature in the WordPress core
   implements just the same, without caching (yes, WP has a built-in sitemap feature).–
   In WP 6.1, the cache (object cache) will be implemented by default in the WP 
   core, for all queries.
 * 2. Instant indexing is on our plan and will be worked on soon.
