# Function called incorrectly?

 * I am getting the following error message in the debug log. Is this a Wordfence
   issues?
 * PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called **incorrectly**.
   Translation loading for the `wordfence` domain was triggered too early. This 
   is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early.
   Translations should be loaded at the `init` action or later. Please see [Debugging in WordPress](https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/)
   for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in xxxx/wp-includes/
   functions.php on line 6131

 * Our 8.1.0 [release notes](https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/changelog/)
   from 25 August’s update state, `Fix: Prevented notice about _load_textdomain_just_in_time
   being called incorrectly`, but it can sometimes still occur immediately after
   a plugin update.
 * If this was seen in the logs after updating but you’re not seeing it on a regular
   basis, it’s safe to ignore this one. Let us know if it continues to come up going
   forward.
