# Functionality lost after migration

 * I tried to install a copy of my wordpress site [http://www.vasectomy.me.uk/cms](http://www.vasectomy.me.uk/cms)
   on [http://www.vasectomy.me.uk/wpt](http://www.vasectomy.me.uk/wpt) as a testing
   site before going live.
 * The site looks fine and all the database copies work fine. However, the functionality
   is completely gone. I cannot update plugins or try to install new ones “failed
   to create directory”. I cannot upload media etc.
 * I changed the links in the database using this tool [http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/](http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/)
 * Any idea what may create the issue and what I still need to change?
