 * Unsure if this plugin is still being supported, but looking at options for the
following scenario. Would the free version of this plugin work?
 * Basically, I want to “sell” points. I’m thinking I’d set the dollar-to-point
ratio as 1-to-1, allow a visitor to “purchase” points (by purchasing a Woo virtual
product that earns the points in amount of the purchase price), and then spend
ONLY those points to purchase downloadable items in the shop. The goal is that
payment processing is ONLY happening for the purchase/earning of the points.
No payment processing other than points) would happen for the downloadable shop
   items.
 * I’m assuming this would work as long as the “minimum” discount is set to 100%,
correct? So you can’t “buy” downloads with your points unless you have enough
to cover the entire cost. And I wouldn’t add any other payment methods to Woo,
and can alter the checkout page in code to hide any “no payment methods available”
   verbiage.
 * Can anyone tell me if there’s a flaw in my logic anywhere?

 * Hi [@justbishop](https://wordpress.org/support/users/justbishop/),
 * Yes, the plugin is still supported, and your logic generally makes sense.
 * Selling points via a virtual product with a 1:1 ratio and then requiring those
points to fully cover the cost of downloadable products can work. Setting the
minimum discount to 100% would ensure users can only complete a purchase if they
have enough points, and restricting other payment methods is a reasonable approach.
 * That said, WooCommerce isn’t inherently designed for points-only checkouts, so
depending on how strict you want the flow to be, you may run into limitations,
especially with mixed carts. Some parts of your setup may require custom code,
and the free version may be limiting for more advanced control.
 * Overall, there’s no major flaw in your reasoning, just be mindful of edge cases
   and WooCommerce’s constraints.
