 * Hi,
 * Can this plugin …
 * 1) Allow the author to log in and modify their own post?
 * 2) Can it hide the dashboard?
 * 3) Can Admin specify what is shown in dashboard i.e. just “Posts”?
 * 4) Can it hide “Screen Options” in Post?
 * 5) Can it only allow the Author to save their Post as being under review pending
   Admin approval?
 * 6) When approved, can it send the Author a message via email giving an update
   i.e. “Your Post has been approved”?
 * Apologies for all the questions 🙂

 * Hi Steve,
 * Thanks for that,
 * I promote Merchants as an affiliate and being asked by many of them to have the
   ability to log in and either to create a post or edit their post.
 * Hence my question about hiding the various menus on the main dashboard on the
   left.
 * I don’t want them to be able to see anything other than being able to create
   a post or edit it.
 * When done, the post creation or mods are held for approval for Admin and when
   approved, notifies the user that either the post or any edits have been approved.
 * Hope that made sense 🙂
 * Regards,

 * [@rik0399](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rik0399/) Yes, that makes sense.
   The Pro version of this plugin can hide the menus.
 * We also have a plugin that can send the notifications: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/publishpress/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/publishpress/)
