# Functions.php Breaking my Custom Theme!

 * Hello!
 * WordPress keeps breaking every time we add the functions.php in, we have tried
   removing any white space and removing the closing tag, we have even tried to 
   add the functions as a plugin rather than as part of the theme directory, could
   you give me any pointers on this?
 * Im completely out of ideas & im definitely noticing a loss of hair!
