 * I logged into one of my WP installations tonight and could not search for a plugin
in the Add New Plugin page. All searches return NO RESULTS – whether I search,
choose featured, favorites, or any of the options.
 * I noticed where the Tag Cloud is normally located that I have this information
   instead:
 * Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /home/
   athensve/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 155
 * Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /home/
   athensve/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 155
    1 2 3 h M
 * I deactivated ALL plugins and changed to Twenty Ten and the error still exists.
I am using a child theme of the Genesis framework, but have eliminated it and
my modifications by switching to the Twenty Ten theme.
 * From my research, it seems this has to do with the api not working in the past.
However, I logged into other websites on the same server and the issue is not
   there.
 * Any help is greatly appreciated.
 * Thanks.

 * Try these steps although you have tried earlier:
    – deactivate all plugins and
see if the problem persists. If it solves the problem, activate plugins one by
one until you find the problematic one – revert to Twenty Twelve theme and see
if the issue is theme-specific – delete any inactive plugins – [reinstall WordPress manually](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update)
from a freshly downloaded copy **except** wp-content. Do not overwrite files/
folders but delete them before reinstalling. – run the upgrade manually via wp-
   admin/upgrade.php
 * Use FTP or your hosting control panel if you cannot access dashboard.
    Backup
your site including database so that you can restore in case anything goes wrong.
