Works well with standard settings.
Another plugin is needed for code optimization and compression; for this I use PhastPress.
For me with the combination of WP Super Cache + PhastPress, better performance than Hummingbird and slightly better than W3 Total Cache (tests done with PageSpeed Insights). These other 2 caching plugins are very sophisticated, but perhaps need more complex optimizations in settings to get the same or better results as WP Super Cache + PhastPress with their basic settings.
