Fusion theme display issue

Having problem with fusion theme in IE6. Following load, on scroll display content freezes and scroll produces all vertical lines until browser window is resized. Page redraws correctly, but any subsequent scroll causes same problem. Thoroughly agree IE6 should be buried – client however wants fix. Any and all help appreciated.
