Future nad past posts, menu active element

    I have got a Future is now plugin, to divide future events posts and the archive. I have 2 pages: NEWS and ARCHIVE. In NEWS i show only future posts, but I have no clue how to not display them in ARCHIVE – I want there only past posts.

    What is more, when I click in a particular post from NEWS and go to its single page, the active element class in menu is ARCHIVE. How to make the NEWS link get the active state?
