 * I find that when I do a G+ share, it picks any old image on the page and not
   the featured image that I create specially for shares. If I want to control the
   image that G+ uses, I need to add a centered image close to the top of my post,
   and I do not always want to do that.
 * Is there something that can be done to fix that?

 * Hi sherioz.
 * > not the featured image that I create specially for shares
 * Are you using a plugin to create that?

 * No. I’m not using a plugin to make the featured image. I just make it on paint.
   net and upload in the featured image spot.

 * The theme implements Google Micro-formats compatibility for author, dates, title
   and entry content if you use the Customizer > Global Settings > Performances
   and SEO “Use Structured Data Markup for your posts” option. To include images
   you might look at the [https://wordpress.org/plugins/opengraph/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/opengraph/)
   plugin.

 * This is the response I got from my web designer:
 * Image markup guidelines
 * When marking up an image URL as a property of a type, make sure that the image
   actually belongs to the instance of that type. For example, if you mark up the
   schema.org/image property of schema.org/NewsArticle, the marked-up image must
   directly belong to that news article.

 * The way I would interpret that is that the image will have to be displayed within
   the body of the article. I wouldn’t know how to change their mind on that one.

 * The theme is using the hAtom micordata speicification which doesn’t appear to
   have a specific tag for an image:
