Gallery Management

The new gallery is great. There is one feature that I would like to see added. Whenever you click the button to insert and image you can do three things:

• Upload Images
• Manage images associated with this post/page
• Manage all images

What I would like to see is the ability to manage the images by post/page. This would allow me to quickly find associated images and also group images.

One example would be to create a set of images used for category images in your posts. Create a non-published page that contains all the category images. Click insert images. Select your non-published category page. Insert the desired image.

Very handy, especially with the number of themes that now make use of the custom fields.
