 * Post/page displays sub-view of blog site within the main view instead of the
   post or gallery.
 * A further sub-view within the pseudo post indicates – 404 not found.
 * Is this a path issue for my no root site?

 * Can you please provide more details? Such as a link to a broken site? It may
   help me figure out what is wrong.
 * Thank You

 * I put up this page as a demo of the issue: [http://www.noyo.eu/2010/11/01/gallery-test-page/](http://www.noyo.eu/2010/11/01/gallery-test-page/)
 * Searches have not produced any answer to the issue although the consensus seems
   to be that it could be an issue with the paths on WordPress sites not created
   at hosting site root.
 * Thanks for any suggestions.

 * Mark,
 * You do not have a “wp-admin” folder on your site? The plugin calls upon included
   files in the folder.
 * If you go to ([http://www.noyo.eu/wp-admin](http://www.noyo.eu/wp-admin)) there
   is no page to be found. How do you manage your WordPress installation?
 * You can disable the test page as I think I can see what the problem is.
 * Thanks
    Richard

 * My entire site resides in a subfolder which means that brand new sites can be
   created, fully populated with interesting and working content prior to releasing
   to the world. 🙂 You can also switch from one “live” site to a totally different“
   live” site in a moment if you decide to upgrade.
 * At face value this is additionally a modest security feature as the WordPress
   folders and files are not in standard locations. However, there are give-aways
   that mean if you know where to look it is not too hard to identify where the
   alternative is located.
 * Only the index.php is located @ public_html. I guess from the comments I’ve read
   during my search to find a solution to this that many others do the same as me
   and if your plugin is looking for the “wp-admin” folder via absolute site root
   it is not going to find it. It needs to use a relative path.
 * Hope that helps.

 * Mark,
 * I have made a quick fix to this problem, which should work until I can provide
   a new release. Can you please test this modified file and see if it fixes your
   problem?

 * Oh. The fix relies on the “admin_url()” function within WordPress. If your custom
   installation is not providing the url with a filter to this function, then the
   fix may not work.
 * Also… Using Gallery Objects will divulge the admin url to your site visitors.
   So this plugin will not adhere to your modest secruity feature. 🙂

 * That allows it to work now. Thanks.
