# Gallery: Slideshow option missing

 * I just noticed that the “Slideshow” type is missing (at least for me). Is this
   a glitch on my end or has that gallery type been discontinued?

 * Manually changing the gallery shortcode to type=”slideshow” results in a somewhat
   weird looking image grid.

 * Could you go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard and make sure the Shortcodes
   module is active? Slideshows are part of the Shortcodes module, so the option
   should appear as soon as you activate the module.

 * I don’t see a Shortcodes module.
    I do see a Shortcode Embeds, but that’s different,
   right?

   is the one! Turn it on to enable the Slideshows option.
