# Gallery sorting by users

 * I found this [thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-display-sort-options-above-a-gallery/)
   which asks for precisely what I would like to see. Allowing users to sort a gallery
   by title, dates, etc.
 * Elvis responded saying that was available in the Pro Expert version, but it is
   not. Only sorting by tags and categories is available. I already have WAY too
   many tags for this to be a valid option anyway.
 * So, I would like to see this as a future feature. It seems like it would be relatively
   trivial to do, but it is beyond my skills.
