I use the Jetpack Contact form and the site stats for both my ww.wp.xz.cn site and WordPress.com site. I went to your support and they provided info on how Jetpack is preparing for GDPR but does not give instructions as to how to provide our own. When someone uses the contact form, they are providing name and email (part of data collection). How to put checkbox to say they consent and so on. Also, the cookie banner widget in my main website does not appear. I checked and I don’t have cookies at this moment, but that may change as I improve the site and want to have that ready.
    Many thanks for your help
    Teresa

    Hi @teresacuervo,

When someone uses the contact form, they are providing name and email (part of data collection). How to put checkbox to say they consent and so on.

The Privacy Policy Helper tool that we’ve added is pretty handy, so if you haven’t created one yet, you can do that using our tool:

    https://jetpack.com/support/for-your-privacy-policy/

Once you’ve created your Privacy Policy, you can add a new checkbox to your form like this:

    http://cld.wthms.co/5hsofk

There’s no way to add a direct link there yet, but we’ve opened an issue with the developers to add one. You can follow that here:

    https://href.li/?https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/9623

Finally, we’ve added privacy information to the bottom of the support document for every Jetpack feature. You can read the details for the Contact Form here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/contact-form/#privacy

Also, the cookie banner widget in my main website does not appear.

The Cookie Banner Widget is included with Jetpack’s Extra Sidebar Widgets module. Typically this is enabled by default but it’s not currently active on your site. You can enable this from the full modules list for your site. This handy guide explains that in more detail:

    https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpacks-modules-on-one-page/

    I hope that helps!

Great news! Is there a checkbox with a link coming to Subscriptions widget too?
