# GDPR doesn’t work.

 * Hi. I have a problem with the GDPR consent message. When I apply the checkbox“
   Require consent before loading Maps API “, there is no message being displayed
   and even if I override the message and choose my own, it still does not display.
   
   If I turn off the require consent the maps work as expected.
 * Is there a reason why this is happening?

 * I’ve just done a test on theory I had and it seems to only occur when the pro
   addon is activated.
