Hi Grete,
Thanks for your message.
Sorry to hear this is giving you some issues.
I would try unchecking the “Only show checkbox if subscriber’s browser registers to the EU”.
I am thinking this is causing the GDPR to not fire. Turning off the “Only show checkbox if subscriber’s browser registers to the EU” should solve the issue.
If that does not solve the issue. I would recommend turning off all other plugins to make sure there is no conflict.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
All the best.

Hi,
Thank you for the quick response.
I unchecked the “Only show checkbox if subscriber’s browser registers to the EU” and I turned off the plugins – nothing to do. It just doesn’t show.
BUT I tested it without the EU browser check and is shows after I’ve clicked the “send” button. So I guess its a step forward.
How can I fix it? 🙂
(Oh, as a temporary solution you’ll find a false <input> checkbox in the “After Button Area” text – the real GDPR checkbox is without the link.)
Hi again,
Thanks for getting back to me.
It appears to be working now after you turned off the EU browser check button. The intended action is that the consent box will appear after the initial click.

This could be very bad for the conversion rate. There is no way to add the checkbox in the description box or wherever to avoid the double-click problem?
Best regards
Hi Grete,
Thanks for your reply.
Generally we have not found that to be the case regarding the conversion rate. Currently, that is the only way the GDPR checkbox will work with the plugin.

Hey Grete,
I will mark this post as resolved but feel free to get back to us if there is anything else.
