 * Im surprised there are not a lot of posts on the GDPR regulations. How is Woocommerce
   going to handle this? Just a bit concerned about customer details & orders etc
   being stored in the database etc. Is it a case clients will need to delete orders
   once they are completed? So many questions, so many sites! 🙂

 * With regards to GDPR, I believe data can be acted upon in different ways based
   on its type. For example:
 * Customer submission forms, queries, etc… all need to be viewable, amendable and
   able to be deleted.
 * However…
 * Customer orders would be different altogether as they pertain to a financial 
   transaction, a milestone, an event that has taken place. Customers won’t be able
   to change a delivery adderss retrospectively, after it has been delivered.
 * So in this case GDPR Policies can be superseded, but policies are given to protect
   the data in the instance of the latter.
 * Hope this helps.
 * I’m also looking for more clarity on the matter from Woocommerce.

 * GDPR is a very complex beast. From a store owners / site builder, the onus is
   on your or your hosting company rather than the WooCommerce plugin.
 * For context, here is what Automattic are doing about the GDPR when it comes to
   WordPress.com, and sites hosted there, [#]([https://en.support.wordpress.com/automattic-gdpr/](https://en.support.wordpress.com/automattic-gdpr/)),
   along with two useful links for general information.
 * We (WooCommerce.com) are thinking about this a lot though, so please do look 
   out for a post coming in the new year.

    I am writing also with regard to GDPR that will come into effect on the 
   25th of May 2018. I would be grateful if you could provide me with the answers
   for my above-mentioned queries: 1. Do you plan support GDPR and make WordPress
   compliant with this regulation? I mean to create some legal regulations with 
   regard to a new European privacy. 2. Where can I find more information about 
   this on your site or whom I should contact? It is only from WooCommerce.com blog
   post?
