# Generating post thumbnails?

 * Im using the PRO version of the JW player and was wondering if its possible for
   this plugin to generate an image thumbnail of the video that i upload and add
   to the post? So that the plugin adds the thumbnail as featured image to the post.
 * im having problems with the flash video files (.mp4) that you can find on this

 * Something similar to the Video Thumbnail plugin that doesnt support the JW player(

 * It is not possible to generate thumbs automatically, but you can use a bit of
   JavaScript to fake adding them – [http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/29406/a-poster-less-preview](http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/29406/a-poster-less-preview),
   but this isn’t good for bandwidth.
