# Generic failure messages

 * I’m testing your Authorize.Net plugin in Sandbox. The logs show Authorize.Net
   is returning specific decline reasons (e.g. AVS mismatch, error code 27), but
   the checkout page only shows a generic “Something went wrong. Please contact 
   us” message.
 * Is there a way to display the actual gateway decline message (like “billing address
   did not match”) to the customer instead of the generic text? If not, can this
   be added?
