# !!! Generic XML import -> WP posts

 * Hi!
 * I have a rather large XML-file that I’d like to be able to import. It is not 
   in “WP-format” it is a “custom-format” but that is not an issue as I’m able to
   transform it whatever format I’d like. Is there any documentation as of how the
   XML should be structured in order to be successfully imported into WP. The “free
   form” textfields are “CDATA” coded do it should work fine.
 * If there’s a plugin that will make this easier it would be great but I’m fine
   using the built-in Importer provided I can get the XML straight…:)
