I am not able to insert the link to the error log nor am I able to insert a screenshot.
I received several error messages during the installation, such as:

and others. How to resolve? I am not a developer nor do I have much knowledge of WordPress. thanks for your help.

Hi there,
In the meantime I installed Geodirectory onto my live site (rather than my WPLocal) and it worked. So I will close this ticket.

Hi Fiona,
I was just looking into this, I think your local might be having issues with CURL and creating the category markers on the fly is not added manually. I have made a small change in our code for the next release so if this fails it will not throw an error.

P.S. I was delighted to see GeoDirectory comes from Northern Ireland (and across the world). I am from Waterford myself and living in Germany. 🙂
