# Geolocation plugin recommendation

 * Hi!
    I’m looking for a plugin that would save visitor’s geolocation on a certain
   post type (each post individually). Then I would like to show this history data
   to the post author. Are there any plugins out there that can do this?

 * Why not just pull the data from Google Analytics and not create any unnecessary
   load to your site and the database?

 * There won’t be many visits to individual posts, I don’t mind saving the data 
   in the DB. I want a history of visits for each post and I don’t want to have 
   to sort through analytics data to get a couple basic values (IP, city, geoloc
   if available).
