I’ve got an old wordpress.com site with my own URL and I would like to link my new wordpress org content to this site. I think I can’t import the whole content on wordpress.com because the theme I use is a Premium theme from themeforest. Could anybody tell me whether it’s possible to use my “old” URL for the new content? How can I do that? Sorry, I am not very experienced in working with wordpress. Many thanks, Carmen. Are you now going to only use the WordPress.COM site? I already done as the link you just sent described but unfortunately that’s only the content import but without the theme. I guess I have to move the domain I bought for wordpress.com, right? Don’t know the name servers of my wordpress.com wish domain. I just thought maybe I don’t have to move the domain and could get there by moving the theme and content to wordpress.com. But you cannot use outside themes on WordPress.COM – ever. Or plugins.
