    but I find thousands of get_mail.php.xxxx files of only a few bytes
   in the root directory.
 * Is this normal?

    I have never seen this before. Postie 
   doesn’t create these files. Can you correlate the creation dates on these files
   with anything?

 * Okay thanks Wayne.
    I will stand corrected, it must be another plugin or mod 
   that causes it.
 * Just a heads up why I love postie so much, I run a site for a football club but
   with all the committee changes its too much to instruct people how to use any
   cms no matter how easy.
 * Letting them just send an email to update is the best thing ever.
