 * Hey There,
 * Does anyone know if it is possible to do something like: get_permalink($category)?
   Where it outputs the permalink with the url structure determined by the mod_rewrite.
 * At the moment I am using <?php echo bloginfo(‘url’);?>?cat=42″> which goes to
   the category and redirects to the pretty permalink.
 * I was hoping to use php to output a static link in the hope of better SEO.
 * Your thoughts would be appreciated.

 * why not use [http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_category_link](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_category_link)?
