• Hi, i recently moved my wordpress to another hosting company (from hostgator to Godaddy). And everything went great. except that the upload images feature of wordpress no longer works. Every time i try to upload something to put into a post I get this error

Unable to create directory /home/strikemm/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2008/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Anyone know how I fix this? i tried changing the permissions of the Uploads folder to allowing everything but i got the same error.

    – Thanks

  • you might need to check php permissions or safety in the settings if it’s Plesk

Can anyone please help me? My writers are unable to post articles w/ pictures and Iv been trying to figure it out but have had no luck.

Should I re-install the original wordpress files?

Could anyone help me with this problem…

Ask your provider to turn off safe-mode in php. (Or if you have a Plesk desk for your domain, you can turn it off yourself)
