 * I updated today and now get “Fatal error: Internal Zend error – Missing class
   information for in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
   admin/api-libs/oauth/class-api-oauth.php on line 5”
 * I can’t deactivate. When I try, I just get this error message.

 * There seems to be a conflict with Jetpack plugin. I deactivated Jetpack and your
   plugin is working again. I am now able to deactivate analytics.

 * I think it is related to an APC bug
    I have reported it at Github [https://github.com/Yoast/google-analytics-for-wordpress/issues/216](https://github.com/Yoast/google-analytics-for-wordpress/issues/216)

 * I don’t have Jetpack and I’m getting the same “fatal error” message. Then, it
   locks me out completely from the admin pages. Not sure how to get back into the
   site to fix it. Anyone hear anything from Yoast? [http://indynjtl.org](http://indynjtl.org)

   Thanks.

 * Maybe you can manually remove the Yoast plugin from your wp-content/plugins folder?

 * Yes, I was in the server starting to do that, but it seems that after about 10
   minutes, the problem corrects itself. I can get back into the admin again. Thanks!

 * oliver I see you are also using GoDaddy for hosting. I am pretty sure it is the
   implementation of APC causing the problem ([https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=59298](https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=59298)).
   Until Google Analytics by Yoast code is patched you can turn it off in php5.ini
   as seen here
    [https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/7910/disabling-apc-on-your-hosting-account](https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/7910/disabling-apc-on-your-hosting-account)

 * I tried to follow up on what APC is, but don’t really get it. If I disable APC,
   will that impact my site negatively?

 * Looks as if Google Analytics submitted a new patch. Works okay now. Thanks everyone.

 * The last update worked fine for me, but when I updated today there was no way
   to access my /wp-admin pages. They were completely blank.
 * I deleted the plugin via FTP and everything is working again. Going to have to
   return to the last version.
 * **Edit:** This worked perfectly for me: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/back-end-broken-after-update-524?replies=3#post-6334337](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/back-end-broken-after-update-524?replies=3#post-6334337)

 * This latest update just broke access to WP admin on two separate sites on two
   separate hosts (one on regular shared hosting, one on VPS).
 * Site on shared hosting produced (when trying to access WP admin):
 *     ```
       Warning: require_once(WPSEO_PREMIUM_PATHclasses/google/Google_Client.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/admin/api-libs/googleanalytics/class-google-analytics-client.php on line 4

       Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'WPSEO_PREMIUM_PATHclasses/google/Google_Client.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/.../public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/admin/api-libs/googleanalytics/class-google-analytics-client.php on line 4
       ```
 * Site on VPS just give an empty blank page (when trying to access WP admin) 🙁
 * Overall I don’t remember a day I would NOT get update for Yost Analytics or SEO
   plugins, I don’t think that constantly pushing daily updates is a good practice…
 * I used FTP to rename plugin folder in the attempt to regain access to admin panel.
   Before plugin got deactivated I got these errors:
 *     ```
       Warning: fopen(/home/.../public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4004
       Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/.../public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4010
 * We’ve rolled back the faulty version. Please take the following steps to recover
   your website:
    * Go into your website with FTP * Remove the Google Analytics
   by Yoast plugin folder * You can now log in again. Do so. * Go to Plugins and
   install the working version of the plugin by following these steps: [Installation Guide](http://kb.yoast.com/article/118-installation-guide-for-google-analytics-for-wordpress)
