 * The plugin shows there’s a new version available but when updating I get this
   error: “Update failed: undefined”
 * I’m on version 5.3.3.1
 * Thanks

 * Hello [@guymal](https://wordpress.org/support/users/guymal/),
 * I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue in my test environment. Do you have
   WPML installed as well?
 * If that’s the case, you may need to create a [new key registration](https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/):
    - Please go to WPML.org and at [https://wpml.org/account/sites/](https://wpml.org/account/sites/)
      look for your current key and erase it.
    - Create a new one with the new URL.
    - Go to your plugins panel and click under “Registered” button below WPML plugin.
    - Click on the “Unregister WPML from this site” link at the commercial page.
    - Add your new key.
 * Also don’t forget that you can always download a new WCML copy from [this repository](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/)
   and install it.
 * I hope it helps,
   Andrés

 * No, I don’t have WPML installed.

 * It could be either the theme, plugin or a combination of both. Therefore can
   you do the following: check if this issue appears in your test site when:
    - Only WPML plugins are activated, as it will tell us if there is an interaction
      issue with other plugin
    - Theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Nineteen as it will tell us
      if there is an interaction issue with your theme
 * If you don’t see the issue happening in the above scenario, can you try to determine
   whether this is a theme or a plugin issue?
 * Finally, you can always download a new WCML copy from [this repository](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/)
   and install it.

 * Alternatively, you can also try the following:
    - Deactivate WCML.
    -  Update it.
    - Reactivate it again.

 * If I deactivate WCML, update, and reactivate will I lose all my settings?

 * Your settings are stored in the database, so they should be kept.
 * Anyway, it is always recommended to perform any of these procedures in your test
   environment or after making a full backup of your site.

 * Ok, I disabled the plugin, updated it, and reactivated it.
 * It seems to be working fine now.
 * Thanks
