# Getting errors that aren't

 * I’m getting error noticies for pages that are correctly resolving or redirected
   to another page. For example, [http://www.scottsemple.com/blog](http://www.scottsemple.com/blog)
   is generating an error but it correctly redirects to the root.
 * How can I stop the error message?

 * I also have the same problem. 404 Notifier is reporting 404 errors for URLs that
   clearly test as 301 redirections to valid pages. Is there any support for this
   plugin?

 * I too am having this problem. I have quite a bit of 301 redirects on a site that
   was migrated from a non-Wordpress install. All of the redirects are working properly
   and not generating 404 errors however this plugin emails me every time one of
   the old URLs is queried.

 * addresses this issue but I’m wary of modifying WordPress core. I also am not 
   sure where the lines of code in question are listed. Any ideas?
