# Getting fatal errors

 * when uploading images through the media upload function within wordpress, I am
   now getting these errors
    : Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds
   exceeded in /home/content/34/11109934/html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor.
   php on line 337
 * as well fatal error with image editor imagick.php

 * Maximum execution time of 30 seconds is the default. To increase that you need
   to go to your php.ini file and edit it to show a higher value, say 60 sec:
    `

 * It’s possible that the wp-uploads directory is unwritable or does not exist. 
   Does it only happen with images, or other files as well?
