 * Your server has PHP magic_quotes_gpc set to active. This produces formatting
   errors in the Ajax Event Calendar plugin.
 * How do I fix this?

 * I contacted my webhost and asked them to turn off magic quotes for after trying
   the different things I found here in the forums.
 * my phpinfo file shows them set to off but I still get the warning AND I still
   get the slashes when I use an apostrophe…
 * Would sure like to figure this out. I love this plugin but there are some times
   when it’s difficult not to use an apostrophe!

 * Have a related issue… maybe. Just installed Ajax Event Calendar yesterday. The
   following displays at the top of every screen.
 * “Your server has PHP magic_quotes_gpc set to active. This produces formatting
   errors in the Ajax Event Calendar plugin. Learn how to disable this setting in
   this forum thread. Ask your host provider for help.”
 * However, I do not have the apostrophe problem. Just would like to not have the
   message. So, my question is, how do I make the message go away?
 * Ajax Event Calendar 1.0.4
    Wordpress 3.5.1 PHP 5.3
 * Thanks

 * I too am still getting the “Your server has PHP magic_quotes_gpc set to active.
   This produces formatting errors in the Ajax Event Calendar plugin. Learn how
   to disable this setting in this forum thread. Ask your host provider for help.”
   I don’t have the apostrophe problem either even though I have been unable to
   turn Magic Quotes off. If it was the upgrade to Ajax Event Calendar 1.0.4 that
   caused this, can’t the developer come up with a fix?
