Great plugin, thanks for the hard work! This is truly one of the best one’s out there!

I’m having a minor issue with getting spam posts to my blog. It started about a month after I installed the plugin. Some how it is using my admin account to do these posts and to make things worse, I have my Facebook and Twitter auto posting. So I’m having to go in every couple of days and delete these things and it’s getting a little annoying. Any ideas on how this is happening and how to stop it? I have changed my password on my admin account several times to something very complex and still it happens.

This is my site velare-media.com. I just deleted the recent spam posts but they will be back soon. They seem to coming from the same source and are in Japanese or Chinese.

    Cheers,
    Shaye

You should download akismet that will handle spam comments or turn comments off using your WordPress settings. This problem is unrelated to my plugin.

Thanks for the prompt reply Allen. I have looked at akismet but wasn’t able to find a free version. The issue are actually posts and not comments so not sure sure if turning comments off would do anything? Either way, I figure something out, thanks for the plugin!

ok..if the issue is posts, then that has something to do with your wordpress set up..my plugin only takes RSS feeds that enter and make them posts (unless you put in an RSS feed that has spam posts in it…then you need to identify which feed that is and stop using it).

I’ll check the feeds that are coming in, thanks for the feedback!
