# Getting Started – Understanding Shortcode

 * Greetings Everyone –
 * I’m not sure how to actually get started with this plug-in. I downloaded, installed
   and activated. I tried putting **{print-me]** on one of my pages, but no icon
   appears, or anything else that would indicate the ability to print the page.
 * Next, I copied and pasted **[print-me target=”div#id_of_element_to_print” title
   =”Print Form”]** from the text file inside the plug-in folder on my control panel,
   and “Print Form” shows up as a link where I placed it on the page, but no printer
   icon. AND, when you click the link my print options open, but the document is
   blank.
 * I’m sure this is VERY simple, but I’d sure appreciate some help figuring out 
   what I have overlooked. I am still VERY new, and this is my first website, so
   I appreciate your spirit of charity.

 * Following up to my earlier request… I can now get the printer icon to appear,
   and bring up the print menu on most pages – EXCEPT those utilizing the “Contact
   Form 7” plugin. Any thoughts?
