 * I’m getting that “Oops! Something went wrong” message when I try to set up a
   map. The map appears for a moment and then disappears and is replaced by the
   message. I searched the archives of this forum and I see many people who had
   this problem were instructed to add an API key to the plugin settings. I added
   the following in the API manager and then pasted the key in the plugin settings.
   So I’m thinking I’m getting the message for some other reason. Or am I missing
   something?
 * Thank you.

 * Hi there
    Please confirm that you have followed these steps: [http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/creating-a-google-maps-api-key/](http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/creating-a-google-maps-api-key/)
   You will need to ensure that the Google Maps JavaScript API is enabled for the
   map to display correctly.
 * Please also send me a link to your map page so I can debug further in the meantime.
