# GitHub Gist embeds not working

 * Hello,
 * I’ve just written a series on my website featuring some GitHub Gist which I embeded
   by copying the URL in the WP editor and it worked. When I look at the pages they
   don’t seem to have embedded the gist correctly.
 * I’m not sure if this could be something that I would need to fix on my end because
   I am using a custom theme. If it is. What would I need to add?

 * Have you tried to see whether the gists render correctly when using a WordPress
   standard theme like “Twenty Sixteen”?
 * If they do you might need to contact the theme author to resolve this issue.
