    Hi,
I’m using Give plugin Version 1.6.1 and select the default template in Settings/emails. The content of the email looks fine, but the email title is written twice, and there is a big space between the the top title and the actual email content. If I choose “no template, plain text” the content of the email is grey and no friendly to read.

How can I disable the default email template’s background and header, and remove any extra vertical spacing at the top of my email?

    Thanks,
    Adina

    HI there,

That sounds like a plugin conflict of some sort. There’s a plugin called “Better WordPress Emails” that can be problematic for Give emails. Can you disable ALL other plugins and see if that resolves the problem first? If it does, then re-active the other plugins one by one until you see the problem again and then let me know which plugin caused it and I’ll look into replicating it.

Once we get that resolved we can move into formatting the email better if you still need that. Let me know, thanks!

    Hi,

You’re a genius, that’s exactly what it was. I deactivated WP Email Template LITE and that did the trick.

    Thank you.
